Dear Readers,

I am writing to advise you to be careful when looking at websites to get a quote on conservatories.

When looking searching through the variety of conservatory sites, offering anything from double glazing windows to stable doors, it can be hard to decide who to trust.

Here’s a word of warning.

There are a number of ‘lead’ websites saying that they will give your details to a reputable local home improvement companies. Often they suggest that you can get a quote online for the work, but really these websites are trying to get your information, so that they can then sell this to three or four different companies.

The issue is that you are then likely to be bothered by these companies, including high pressure sales staff. With the high pressured situation, you’re unlikely to have been able to look in to any of the companies yourself before they phone you. We have heard lots of tales from people who have encountered such an issue, before finding our website that is.

We feel that if you’re looking for a quote for conservatories, orangeries, windows, doors or other home items, you would do better to spend more time gathering information on a few local companies in your area. Instead of using lead generation websites to do it for you. The local home improvement companies are also likely to have local showrooms which will allow you to see for yourself the quality of the products, instead of relying on the salesman’ swagger. If you spend just a bit of time to do your own investigating you are more likely to find the best company to do your work, and overall receive a better service.

Hi again,

Just a quick mail to say thank you Greenway for all of your help with our new bespoke conservatory. Everyone was very helpful and professional.

The fitters were very impressed on how it all pieced together and that there wasn’t even a need to adjust the frames. They said they often have to do this when working for other manufacturers.

Anyway, we are thrilled with the new conservatory, it looks beautiful and is extremely secure with double glazing windows and doors coming with fantastic locks and I think that it is probably one of the best conservatories in Cardiff.

We have suggested your company to all of our friends and family. It was also nice to know that you were available to give out some helpful advice when needed, and once we had the planning go-ahead from the council, everything was easily completed.

We wanted a small extension that was larger than a Porch but there was insufficient space for a Conservatory. Thus we called it a Conorch.
