The following is a customer testimonial.

Dear all at Greenway,

I am writing to say how delighted we are with the Conservatory which you have recently built. From our initial visit to your showroom and helpful advice from your courteous staff to the design, planning, quotation and execution of the conservatory by your team, it has been an excellent service.

In particular, the Double Glazing that was installed along looks brilliant and we are thinking of having you back to update the rest of our home.

In brief a top class job carried out and great value for money.

We wish you every success for the future and we won’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone we know.

Yours sincerely,

Mr and Mrs Yade

The following is another customer testimonial for Double Glazing, Cardiff:

Dear Greenway,

We had our front windows done by a company some years ago who didn’t do a great job. My wife and I thought it was time to finally replace them.

We found your website through a recommendation from a friend. Then we looked at some testimonials, and then rang up to speak with your staff. They were very friendly and we arranged a meeting for you to come around and look at our windows.

A sales rep came round shortly and showed us the window designs that were available to us. We went with Tilt and Turn Windows as we felt they would be the best option for us as we enjoyed the idea of having our windows wide open in the summer.

Thanks to your company we have well fitted new windows which have actually helped to reduce our heating bills as well.

Proposed changes to building regulations in 2010 is looking to add thousands of pounds on to the cost of a uPVC Conservatory. Matthew Glover explains that people should buy them now before these regulations come into force.

The construction industry is saying that proposals in the draft consultation for the 2010 version of Part L of the Building Regulations is going to make conservatories and extensions more expensive for people looking to invest in their home.

People who build extensions are likely to be forced to spend thousands of pounds extra improving the energy efficiency of the rest of their property under the proposals. Matthew Glover, the Managing Director of Conservatory Outlet, a manufacturer of conservatories reckons the extra cost is likely to be around £2000 per conservatory.

These new regulations will cover home extensions for the first time and that means higher carbon reduction targets which would impose electric heating restrictions as well as floor, wall and glass enforcement’s to make the conservatory or Orangery more energy efficient.

Matthew Glover stated, “We build their conservatories to an extremely high standard, virtually complying with building regulations anyway. But the requirement to upgrade other aspects of a home at the same time will undoubtedly add to the cost of the project.”

For those wishing to avoid the extra costs involved with the proposed regulations, the only way to do so is to have their conservatory or orangery built this year.

With the construction industry at below capacity due to the ongoing recession and housing crisis, there are also some great deals to be had. Greenway Home Improvement are offering a fantastic 25% off conservatories and free flooring.

Greenway are a manufacturer of replacement windows, doors and conservatories supplying goods throughout Cardiff, Bristol, Newport and parts of Gloucester.

The following is a customer testimonial for a conservatory they had installed with us here at Greenway Home Improvements.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We recently had an Edwardian Conservatory installed on to our house over in Pontypool.

Our neightbour had their Porch installed through you and they suggested using you for our conservatory.

The builders did a great job; they were very polite and went about their job with no fuss, we also felt very comfortable trusting them with everything. The service you provided, from the phone contact to the follow up, was top notch as always.

You used a CAD design program, which helped us see what our design would look like and we made a few adjustments and re-drew it a few times until we had something which my husband and I both really liked to look of. This was very helpful indeed. The pricing technique you used was also very good – using a spreadsheet which automatically updated when something was modified.

Thank you again for our new Conservatory, it looks great and our neighbours are now jealous of us.

Mrs Teele,
Pontypool.

A-Rated Windows

How can new windows save you money?

Greenway Home Improvement uses a low emittance glass that contains a coating that lies between the layers of glazing, which makes the glass reflective – keeping energy in. This setup keeps the house warmer in the winter and helps keep it cooler in the summer.

We use new materials in glass insulation that can create a more energy efficient glass, such as glass coatings, gas fillers, warm edge spacers and new frame materials. The A Rated Windows range is the most energy efficient window available, but we also offer other rated windows, depending on the type you would like installed.

In the media at the moment there is a lot of coverage on Energy Rated Windows and especially being green and reducing your carbon footprint. We all need to take a part in doing this and energy efficient windows are a good way of doing this. They will help to reduce your carbon foot print and save you a lot of money at the same time.

Our Energy Efficient Windows mean that there will be no draughts letting the heated air out. At the moment, with normal double glazed windows you are using more heat and energy than necessary because of a window that is not designed to contain the warm air inside with the reflective coating.

So look in to our energy efficient windows today or for pricing information request a free quote online.
